At Texas Auto and Truck Salvage, we understand that getting your replacement parts quickly and safely is critical. We utilize robust LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight partnerships and commercial carriers to dispatch OEM engines, heavy-duty transmissions, and large body panels successfully to all 50 US States.
To reduce shipping costs, we highly recommend electing a Commercial Address with a loading dock, forklift, or chain hoist when ordering over-sized powertrain parts. We completely support residential deliveries; however, residential LTL freight often requires a "liftgate surcharge" levied by the trucking company to unload the pallet safely to ground level.
We do not cut corners. A verified 5.0L V8 Engine or a Rust-Free Super Duty front door represents a significant investment. Engines and transmissions are drained of all fluids, securely bolted onto heavy-duty custom pallets, shrink-wrapped, and banded to prevent shifting during transit. Body parts are padded, cardboard-edged, wrapped, and safely loaded to avoid dents or dings on the freight truck.
If you or your repair facility is located within an hour of our Sunset, TX salvage yard (including the DFW Metroplex), our fleet of local delivery flatbeds may be able to deliver directly to your shop same-day or next-day. Local pickup is also welcome during our standard operating hours (Mon-Sat, 9AM-6PM). Call ahead so we can pull your part from inventory and have it ready at our front docks.
